Pretty crazy - I had just finished uploading the photos of Angela and Tony's wedding, when she sent me their honeymoon pix! Such a cute couple!
I was so happy to attend the wedding of a former student from Jakarta, Angela Buttaccio, last month. Long ago, as in LONG AGO, she was in my 9th grade class trip to Manado and one night, scared silly in a rain forest shack, she came late to my also-horrible accomodation to ask if she could sleep on my floor. I returned with her in the darkness for her bag, and 7 more girls scrambled back with us. We were in the middle of nowhere to see tarsiers, massive-eyed tiny nocturnal birds. Although that trip was far far too zero-star for my liking, I ended up with a beautiful friend who has always made me laugh with her great sense of humor, gentle nature and unending kindness. Congratulations Angela & Tony! (stolen photos below)          Summer school is draining my life force but when I have a lucid moment I think of my great trip to NYC with Mark and Hugh! Here's a start to some of my favorite photos!  Hugh on the Staten Island Ferry  I went a little crazy over this staircase and Mark was patient enough to let me take a lot of photos!  Times Square at Night  Yes we made it to Grimaldi's = and we were starving by the time we found it!  We had the most amazing cheesecake here!  The Hershey Shop in Times Square - recommended by their cousin Sarah!  Posing with ... what's his name?  Yep Mark with Regis and Kelly. I think these wax figures could use some revision.  Hugh cutting up the disco floor  We could have spent a full day at the Moma easily!  Mark would certainly be as good a nyc taxi driver as any of them!  Not to be outdone by his bro, Mark shows the Rockettes how to rock  Yep we walked Brooklyn Bridge - I don't think anyone else could have coaxed me to do it!  I loved this!  Woody signing up Mark for his new film  This may have been on my favs at the Wax Museum! If only my camera had been ready for this moment of Ella Rose, she took my breath away! She's out of focus but still gorgeous!   I'm probably talking to myself in here these days, but that's nothing new. Spent yesterday at the Apple Store and I think most of my corrupted files have been removed but not all because it's still a struggle to upload. To begin where I left off ... a day in Glendale and I wanted to introduce the newest photographer in the family - Sir Alex Hughie Boyd, Jr. Within a minute of grabbing my camera he was clicking away like a pro! I think I know what Santa needs to drop off under his tree this year!  Here he is, Sir Alec Hughie of Glendale! Proudly displaying his Lego Logo! This was the license in front of me coming out of St. FX to get on the highway - I think Greg will want to buy it for Andy?  Early morning view from the corner of the highway... the old barn is still standing - barely!  Hugh Francis and I took a very slow drive through Maple Brook - so peaceful and beautiful!  Someone has their cows here closer to the Kingston road  What could be prettier? Next photos will be from little Alec Hughie - the new and improved version as Lawrence described him.
