I gave up on this a few weeks ago when I had placed a lot of photos from Gaudi's Apartment complex and they crashed on me. Actually I was going to give up on this entirely but when I saw Kathy's note I realized maybe I'm not in here just babbling to myself after all. Thanks Cousin! lol

The corner outside of the apartment building

Waiting in the long hot August sun and looking to the magic I was about to enter

The Inner Courtyard - Greg and Cathy do NOT take the staircase, trust me it is not worth it - the glass elevator straight ahead and straight up!

Picture
The front gate - I took only the top because I didn't want a load of awful tourists in my photo - tourists like me! lol Actually this gate is in one of the models below...

The roof - a small part of the roof!

Yes - I know it looks like another planet, but this is the roof and one of those sights a camera can't do justice

Inside the exhibit apartment floor looking out

Another rooftop view

Looking down from the roof - everything is meticulously designed to work with nature

A sample of organic life that inspired Gaudi - there were also animal skeletons but this was the prettiest to my eye

The attic roof from within - a marvel

I fell in love with the models for his buildings and reconstructions.

This is the front entrance of which I have a tiny bit of the real one above, but only the top section of it ...

This is not my kind of architecture but I still loved it - this particular piece reminded me of Michael Rennie in The Day The Earth Stood Still ...

Imagine living here!

Back to the street corner for a little rest - I needed it after those 6 or so flight of stairs - I'm warning you G and C, don't do it!
